The fourth edition of the International E-Reading and Tablet Conference will also be held (11 October). It is of special interest for project managers with responsibility for tablet projects. This really gets down to the “nitty-gritty”, with lecturers among others from BBC Worldwide, Bonnier and The Daily.
The World Newspaper Congress and World Editors Forum are, of course, the highlights of the week. The program consists of about 80 lecturers, all C-level, whom WAN-IFRA selected on the basis of their particular relevance for strategic publishing decisions. They will purposely take a look outside the confines of the newspaper industry, especially where topics such as branding, leadership and financial markets are concerned.
The Congress and Editors Forum will naturally focus on networking. Accordingly, in cooperation with the Austrian Newspapers’ Association, we have created a program to satisfy the most exacting demands: From the official opening that, besides the sounds of classical waltzes, will also feature pop music and video art, a traditional wine evening in picturesque Gumpoldskirchen, and a gala dinner in the Wiener Konzerthaus.
